What is HRST?
Homeostatic Rehabilitation from Stress and Trauma (HRST) is an original Czech method focused on individuals suffering from Complex Posttraumatic Stress Disorder and those exposed to long-term stress.
Long-term exposure to stress disrupts the internal balance, and as a result of allostatic load, neurobiological changes occur, affecting mental and physical health.
The fundamental principle of HRST is the reversibility of neurobiological changes through the restoration of homeostatic regulation.
The goal of rehabilitation is to improve thinking, perception, emotional, and autonomous regulation, leading to an enhancement in the client's quality of life and restoration of functioning in all areas important to the client.
HRST adheres to the 6 principles of Trauma-Informed Care and proceeds through 3 phases of recovery according to Herman.
HRST emphasizes the measurability and verifiability of results through standardized self-assessment tools.
All of this and much more will be gradually adopted in the environment of one of the most beautiful tourist villages in the world according to UNWTO, and subsequently from the comfort of your own home.
